It’s hard to believe that a month has passed since the inspiring Consilium Awards. I am proud to share the highlights of that memorable night with you all and take the opportunity to thank you again for your support in the organisation of the event.
Washington Academy students work with Wonder Made Wild to create light sculptures
Careers education and guidance programmes make a major contribution to preparing young people for the opportunities, responsibilities, and experiences of life. A planned progressive programme of activities supports them in choosing 14–19 pathways that suit their interests and abilities and help them to follow a career path and sustain employment throughout their working lives.

On Friday the 29th of September Washington Academy held a Macmillan coffee morning to raise vital funds for people living with cancer which raised £208.75. Residents from local care homes Washington Manor and Willow Brook were invited to the school for some cake and dancing!
